Time is on our side!! Yeah right.

I am a total facebook addict. I love to keep up with everyone without have to really put myself on the line for a serious relationship. That is kinda how I work. Nate says I love to know everyone yet I keep them an arms length away. I know just by looking at post on facebook that we are ALL always busy. I can tell you right now that I am one of the busiest people around. Always thinking if I had 1 more hour in the day it would help so much. But would it really?? I think we now use time like we use money and that is "we use what we have." If we made a million dollars I am convinced that I would spend it and want more. It is the same with time. If we could just magically throw another hour or two into the day, I would be willing to bet that most of us would think I can just take more on. So I think that instead of wanting more time we should reflect what or whom am I working for? How is this new project going to affect my family, schedule, or relationship with God. Sometimes the things we are spreading ourselves so thin for might not even matter to the most important people in our lives. Most people are going to read this blog (if they take the time) and it will change nothing, and that is fine. But maybe just maybe, someone else might realize time is on MY SIDE!!

  1. We talk about this often with all the things here, in Nicaragua, that COULD consume our time. I completely agree!!! People may always wonder why someone isn't doing more, they have more, they should do more for others. The most important thing is whether or not we are doing what GOD wants us to do, outside of what everyone THINKS we should be doing. I think if we are doing what God called us to do. He will equip us to do it and have the grace to be honoring to our families as well.
Glad to see you back at blogging :)
